‘Did he just do that? Get him off’, say Man Utd fans after spotting what Casemiro did at half-time of Fulham clash

EAGLED-EYED Manchester United fans spotted a stunning move from Casemiro during their match with Fulham.

The Brazilian midfielder started the Red Devils clash against the Cottagers as they aimed for a fifth Premier League win in a row.

But at half-time of the Old Trafford match Casemiro swapped shirts with compatriot and Fulham star Rodrigo Muniz.

The practice is usually conducted between rivals after the final whistle.

And fans were not best pleased with the unusual exchange.

Taking to social media platform X, one fan said: “Did Casemiro just swap shirts at half time? Get him off.”

A second said: “Two opponents swapping jerseys at half-time. Yep. The world has gone soft.”

A third said: “If I was the manager of either player, they’d be subbed at HT.”

Another said: “Don’t show Roy Keane.”

Shortly after the second half began, Casemiro, who turned 32 yesterday, was involved in a heavy collision of heads with Fulham’s Harrison Reed.

That clash left the former Real Madrid star on the floor receiving treatment.

But he was subsequently taken off in 53rd minute to be replaced by Scott McTominay with his head bleeding.

He then walked straight down the tunnel with a bandage full of blood on his head.

The game also marked a full debut for Omari Forson following the injury of Rasmus Hojlund, though the 19-year-old was also hooked in the 53rd minute.
