MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly plotting a huge clearout with Casemiro, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane up for sale.
However, Erik ten Hag has made a huge U-turn regarding two other players at the club.
Erik ten Hag also wants to shift Jadon Sancho out of the club[/caption]Reports have emerged that the Dutchman has lost some of the dressing-room at Old Trafford amid United’s recent struggles on the pitch.
Ten Hag has spoken about raising standards as he struggles to return the club to their former glories and that has led to several big spats.
He soon stamped his authority on United following his arrival in the summer of 2022 after his explosive fall-out with Cristiano Ronaldo finally led to the Portuguese legend being released.
Another spat with Jadon Sancho followed this term after the winger claimed that his manager had made him a “scapegoat” – which has since led to him being exiled.
The under-pressure Red Devils boss then suffered more woe on Saturday as he was spotted rowing with Anthony Martial during the 1-0 defeat at Newcastle.
But, after dropping Marcus Rashford and Martial last night, his team produced some joy for him as they beat Chelsea 2-1 in the Premier League.
Now The Independent has claimed that Ten Hag is “willing to listen to offers on a series of high-profile players”.
And they claim that 31-year-old Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, a £70m signing from Real Madrid 18 months ago, Sancho and defender Varane, who we exclusively revealed was being put up for sale, can all go.

This fresh update claims that United feel “that Ten Hag is still dealing with the remnants of so many managerial predecessors, and that the need for a clear-out has been a long-term problem” for the club.
Not all of those said to be available “are seen as having an issue” with the manager, such as Casemiro, but a mixture of tactics and players wanting a fresh challenge have led to them being up for sale.
But two men that were previously up for sale have since transformed Ten Hag’s opinion of them.
Defender Harry Maguire, who had the captaincy taken off him in the summer, was left out of the team at the start of the season.
However, he has since returned to play a key role in the backline while midfielder Scott McTominay, whose double downed Chelsea yesterday, found himself in a similar scenario.
But this update claims that the ex-Ajax man “is appreciative of how they have forced their way into the team while offering him huge moments and performances”.
